Constance
Kuhne has owned, directed and taught at Crescenta Valley Music Studio
since September 1992. From
its beginning as a small Yamaha music studio it has grown with the Harmony
Road program to well over 100 students. "Miss
Connie" received her Bachelor of Music in piano performance from
Oberlin Conservatory in Oberlin, Ohio.
Her junior year was spent in Salzburg, Austria.
After being accepted for a Fullbright scholarship, she spent a year
of private study in Fontainebleau and Paris, France.
There she studied piano with Jean Casadesus, solfege with Annette
Dieudonne and music aesthetics with Nadia Boulanger.
Upon returning to Hartford, Connecticut, she received her Master of
Music degree in piano pedagogy from the Hartt College of the University of
Hartford.
